Front Sleeper

Hi!

My daughter since 6 month old has started sleeping on her front. I used to flip her back over but it was pointless as she’d roll back within seconds. Even after a night feed I’ll put her back down on her back and straight away she’ll roll onto her front.

The problem is she’s now leaking out her nappy at the front so her stomach is covered in wee by morning! Has anyone got any ideas or tips to stop this happening? I guess it’s not as absorbent at the front?? Not sure if a larger sized nappy would help?

I've heard of people putting the nappy on backwards to help prevent leakage!

I have two stomach sleepers and never had that happen but I had a friend who had to use a larger size nappies at night or they leaked. I'd try a larger size of your current brand, and if that doesn't help, try a different brand - they do fit differently / have different adsorbancies and we certainly had more daytime leakages with one brand we tried.

I always went up a size once they started leaking overnight. If they're a bit big you could always use the smaller size during the day when she's moving more.

Bigger nappy. If she's wearing a vest make sure it's not too tight.

My LO is exactly the same, started sleeping on her front about 2 weeks ago and we had sone leaking nappies. Went up a size and hasn’t happened since

Try a nappy for boys as they'll be more absorbent at the front
