Flying with chicken pox

Name changed in case ex husband is lurking about.

Dd developed first spots on Sunday, looks like there's been a few new ones today but they are mostly blistered or burst now.

Her father (nrp) is due to take her and sibling on internal uk flight on Monday coming. She has quite a few spots on her face as well as everywhere else, which I assume will be scabbed over by then and airline advice says ok to fly 7 days after last spots appeared.

I had messaged her father to say I assumed she would be ok by then but to be aware it might be an issue, this didn't go down well. He had already taken her into city center to go clothes shopping on Sunday on day one of spots when she was feeling pretty miserable so he's just going to please himself regardless (it was his weekend and spots appeared while he had them, I had checked her over on Friday to make sure there was no sign and if she had been under the weather then I'd have kept them here as he's useless).

Will airline need a letter to let her fly or will they glance at her (and her brother who's scabs are a couple weeks old now) and let them on with their fathers word there's been no fresh spots in 7 days? I know it's his problem but don't want children to be disappointed or a risk to other people because he hasn't checked things out properly. If anyone has first hand advice I'd appreciate it.

Might need a fit to fly letter especially if there are visible spots.
