Im wondering if its a stage or a growth spurt but my sweet dd has turned into a grumpy, tantruming toddler overnight. We're potty training and i wonder if this isn't helping?

She nearly a threenager!

Perfectly normal!

I doubt it's got much to do with potty training. Just be calm and consistent. Don't let the tantrums take hold!

Three has always been tougher in our house than two. God I love 4 yr olds!

Same as my three year old. Suddenly having monster tantrums! I hope it’s just a short phase.

Stubborn, defiant, frustrating, constantly overtired and hyper! But pretty awesome (sometimes Grin )

My little boy is a bit older (39 months) but since about 2 and three quarters he's been a "threenager" - unpredictable, stroppy, defiant, hits and kicks (very gently so it's more attention seeking, but still), a major attention seeker.

He is very independent in some ways, has been potty trained since 2.8 and now wees standing up and insists on wiping his own bottom. But he's also so young and I need to remember that!

My dd1 is almost 3, answers back, massive tantrums. Purposely does things you tell her not to and at the moment ignores my every word!

Tantrums are slowly down here but earlier there some horrific tantrums.
