I am off to Ceebies land next week with a nearly 3 year old. Does any one have any tips to share. TIA

We always take water bottles as there are lots of places to refill.

Are you taking a buggy? It can be a long day and a buggy is good for storing food and letting them have a rest when it's all got a bit much.

I agree with taking a pushchair and also your own food as it can be expensive to eat out

Take a few things to keep them occupied in the queues, although I doubt there’ll be many at this time of year.
It's a good idea to bring a bike lock for your buggy, so that you can safely ditch itin the central buggy parks if you don’t want to use it.
Before you start making your way around the park, remember to take a photo of the Big Fun showtime board. It lists all the information on the line-up throughout the day so you’ll need a snap to keep up with it all. Alternatively, download the Alton Towers Resort app instead for the same info. The map on the app is a bit crap…it’s very hard to decipher and the paper map is loads better.
Also worth asking if there will be any other meet and greets not listed as we met Iggle Piggle and Oopsy Daisy after overhearing a staff member mention what time they’d be in the tent…it wasn’t listed on the board and was quiet as a result.
The girls loved the Tree Foo Tom play park, Nina’s Science Lab and the Charlie and Lola play area. But most of all, they had a brilliant time in the Justin’s House Pie Factory! There was no queue for this either, so it comes highly recommended!
The Furchester Hotel Live show is repeated every 20 minutes – you will be humming the songs for the rest of the day, so you might want to leave this treat till last!
The Octonauts ride is so much fun for little ones, but watchout for the whale,he sprays you with water.
If all the excitement gets a bit too much, you'll find peace and quiet in the Something Special Sensory garden or just outside the CBeebies Land entrance on the Towers Street Lawns.
There are lots of other child friendly attractions in the rest of Alton Towers. There is a lovely Sealife Centre in Mutiny Bay, and lots of children’s rides in Cuckoo Land…there are also some lovely manicured gardens to walk around in the middle of the park which would be perfect for a stroll if the children are napping.

Thanks everyone one. We will take the buggy/bike lock and some snacks but own food might be difficult as we are adding it onto traveling. But looking at their food I don’t think it will be great in terms of allergies. Does anyone know if there are any supermarkets near by to buy sandwiches? - we will staying at the premier inn at Uttoxeter.

Unfortunately naps are a thing of the past.

My son has a peanut allergy and we ate in the rollercoaster restaurant and coffee shop which was fine for him.
There is a coffee/sandwich shop in cbeebies land bit over priced for a sandwich but just as you expect at these types of places.

Download the app as it tells you the queue time so you can head to the ride you want when queue is lower.

We didn't go to Funchester show but staff at the hotel said it's really good so wish I had. In the night garden and tree fu Tom ride, and go jetters were best rides for us.

Thanks. My DD has a milk allergy so lot food is often ruled out.
