Baby boys clothes

We are expecting our twin boys in the summer and I recently started looking for cute little outfits.
Am I the only one thinking that baby boys clothes out there are so boring and so cliche? All stripes, blue, drawn on ties and bow ties and waistcoats Confused, brown. I love bright colours and I think it's fun for kids no matter their gender to enjoy fun colourful outfits (including nursery decor, bed sheets) and live in a bright coloured world. Also most boys clothes are like miniatures of grown ups clothes (which To be honest not even my DH would ever wear!!). Also I notice more and more all adverts for baby stuff have girls on them (from milk to slings to pretty much everything) really bizarre to only think baby girls are cute. Any good shops u recommend? Or tips to make this more of a pleasant experience? I am considering to make my own clothes for them!!

Oh and my DS won't wear any of the Scandi stuff - he just laughs and says "that's pyjamas".

There are loads of bits and pieces out there - I got this cute little dungaree set from Sainsbury's for my ds. I think it there's plenty of unisex stuff around, you just need to look. I must admit it becomes a little more difficult to find as they get bigger, but it's not something I'm all that fussed about to be honest. So long as it's clean, it fits and it's comfortable for him I'm happy.

Next are great, as are Boden and Polarn O Pyret (although the latter two are very expensive for every day stuff, you can quite often pick up bits on eBay though).
I'm sick of grey outfits so I totally understand where you're coming from. Grey, and brown, and the only things with colour seem to have cartoons on them.
Highly recommend Next, they have some great stuff at the minute.

For your sanity just buy lots of vests and sleepsuits for the first few months. I like John Lewis multipacks.

Oh, I forgot - tracksuit bottoms. Why is every boys section in most shops filled with 50 shades of grey tracksuit bottoms. They look awful on adults, and worse on kids.

Jools Oliver's range for Mothercare is very good, lots of lovely bright colours.

There are a lot of boring boys clothes out there at the moment. I hate the dark sludgy colours. But there are also loads of really lovely clothes too. I really like Frugi, Jojomamanbebe, Boden, John Lewis & M&S. sometimes supermarkets have surprisingly nice boys clothes too. I quite enjoy the challenge of finding nice colourful things. Congratulations on your babies.
