Teething & change in bowel movements 🤷‍♀️

So my LO is 16 weeks old, we are 100% sure she is teething. She was off her milk for 3 days then yesterday we have her dentinox before her feeds and she's now feeding like normal, plus everything is going in her mouth and sometimes she seems to be in pain.

However also over the past week she is passing stools less, she used to go 3/4 times a day was is always on the runny side because she's on comfort milk ( SMA) her happy was always full too. But the past week she's only been passing small amounts and its more formed however not rock hard or pellet like & this morning when I changed her poo was stuck and her bum was open once I cleaned her her bum was sore and bleeding around the area a little. She has never had a red bum as we have always applied cream and dryed her properly etc.

So what I'm asking is could teething and the bowles be related ? I know babies tend to have runny poo when teething.

Mine had runny poos when teething. They also got sore bums. Sudocream always helped.
We also find the teething powders the best at helping with teething pain - Boots do them. If it got really bad - a bit of Calpol.

I've just read this

"Another possible side effect of teething in babies is constipation. This is because teething babies may refuse food and drink because they aren’t feeling well" I'm wondering whether it was because she was off her milk for 3 days. Hopefully it will return back to normal.
We are using dentinox and that seems to be working at the minute
