Lightweight fold down stroller/buggy for tall parents - help!

Does anyone have ANY ideas of a good one? We went to John Lewis to have a look and there is just nothing with a handle high enough for me to walk without stooping or my legs kick against the foot panel.

It needs to be light weight and fold down.....

How tall? Quite tall myself and we went with hauck 3n1. Great for adjustable handles

Longtalljosie · 09/03/2019 20:27

Maclaren XT has adjustable handles.

Wallsbangers · 09/03/2019 21:45

We have a Joie one, no complaints from tall OH.

I'm 5'10 and my husband is 6'1, we got on very well with the Silver Cross Pop

We have the joie dlx chrome travel system. I'm 5ft9 and my other half is 6ft2, works great for us.

The biggest complaint you'll hear of the babyzen yoyo+ is that the handle is too tall for a lot of people. John Lewis sell them though so you might have already tried it.

TheKrakening3 · 11/03/2019 06:05

I’m 6ft 1 and DH is 6ft 3. Be careful with the adjustable handles as the ‘tall’ position often brings you in closer and you end up kicking the stroller all day.

The Maclaren was ok, but I still had to stoop a bit as I am unfortunately super tall with short T-Rex arms.

JimbosJetSet · 11/03/2019 06:13

Are you on FB? There is a group called 'Long Tall Sally buy/sell/trade,' which people use for advice about tall related stuff as well as buying and selling tall clothes - search on there, as your question pops up so many times!

We have a Maclaren which we were given. It’s probably third hand so I don’t suppose they do our specific one any more, but it’s super easy to push and definitely not too short for us. I am 6ft and my husband is 6ft1. Even if I’m wearing my boots which make me taller than him I don’t have any problems. Very light, robust and was ideal when we took it on holiday with us!

Soopertooter · 11/03/2019 06:41

Babyzen yoyo has good handle height

Passthecake30 · 11/03/2019 06:53

I'm 6ft, we used a mclaren XT. It wasn't perfect, but it did the job.

ICJump · 11/03/2019 06:56

I prefer the Joie pact over the Maclaren XT for pushing. I’m 5 9. I think it’s because I can push in the middle.

MeadowHay · 11/03/2019 08:50

We have a Cosatto pram (can't remember the model...it's a travel system) with an adjustable handle. I'm not tall but DH is 6'2 and pretty happy with it. He does occasionally bash into the bottom which ends up putting the brake on though, I must admit. I use the handle on the higher thing too usually even though I'm only 5'5 I find it more comfy.

INeedNewShoes · 11/03/2019 08:56

We've got a GB Qbit+ and I find the (non-adjustable) bar a bit too high for me to be comfortable so that might be worth a look.

whitehalleve · 11/03/2019 09:00

Joie pact has a really high handle.

PolarBearDisguisedAsAPenguin · 11/03/2019 09:05

Another vote for the Babyzen Yoyo and GB QBit/+. DH is over 6 foot and has no problems. Both are lightweight and fold down to be incredibly small.

Bitchinwitch · 12/03/2019 21:45

5ft11 and parter 6ft7 we use zeeta voom
