Advice/Help Please: My 15 month old is refusing to drink (but breasftfeeding)

I am really struggling to get my daughter, 15 months old, to drink aside from breastfeeding. She isn't dehydrated, but she also barely drinks. She breastfeeds in the early evening and night, but doesn't have any in the day. I do make sure she eats lots of water rich food. I have tried all different types of bottles, cups, straws, spoons (and calpol syringe) and she refuses them all. When she does drink from a cup she lets the liquid come out of her mouth (and sounds like she is choking)-she doesn't swallow. I have tried expressed breast milk, cows milk and water, all the same. When she was first born she refused to feed from one boob, as the let down was really fast and eventually stopped feeding from this boob, so now I am single boob feeder! (i wonder if this indicates a problem with swallowing?) Unbelievably she isn't dehydrated, but I worry that there is something wrong with her swallowing and that it can't be good for her not drinking during the day. Food wise, she struggled to eat for a long time, but does now eat an ok amount and appears fine with swallowing food.

If she can breastfeed and chew/swallow food then it seems unlikely to be a problem with swallowing.

Could you try just putting out a cup with every meal and just seeing what happens? Don't try and persuade her to drink from it, just leave it there and let her do what she wants with it.

Thanks, that is one thing I haven't tried! I am always actively trying. So tomorrow I will start with seeing if she will take the cup without any encouragement.

Is she feeding a few times over night? Have you thought of night weaning to see if this will encourage her to drink in the day?
