So my DS is 11months old. I feel like we are going through another transition and he seems to want to drop a nap in the afternoon (and will only nap once for up to two hours). Currently, he goes to bed at 6 and wakes at 5am but he still seems so tired, especially in the mornings.
I would love for him to sleep a little longer in the morning, although he does sleep through til 5, which is brilliant (obvs I understand I cannot have my cake and eat it!)
I am waiting for the clocks to change so that his new bedtime will be 7pm and we will structure the day around that.
If I try and put him down for a nap in the afternoon he just cries or wriggles around and makes it very clear he will not be napping.
He's doing well with solids and we've upped the intake as he just seems hungry all the time.
How can I help him sleep a little longer?

Can you start to push his bedtime back a bit now?

We have talked about it. We did try just before Christmas but he kept waking up at 5am.

After lunch nap for 1.5-2 hours sounds normal. The nap around 4:30pm does tend to get dropped but they can be very tired at tea time.
Morning nap (9:30ish) may or may not happen, you may find that a quick nap happens when in car seat, sling, buggy.
