Hi
I just wanted to share my experience with other mums! My son was born with cerebral palsy and as a result has been unable to speak for most of his life. When he got to school age we didn't know how he was going to be able to learn if he couldnt even interact with teachers or make friends with his fellow pupils. We were advised by our speech and language therapist that he would benefit from a communication aid and we settled on an eye gaze machine made by tobbi dynavox. Unfortunately we are a low income family and couldnt afford to buy one and there was no NHS funding available. Luckily we found The Sequal Trust online, they're a communication disability charity who raise funds for specialist communication aids! We registered for their help and within a year they had funded the device my son so badly needed!

I know not many people will be aware of organisations like this, but they do fantastic work and have changed my sons life and my life!
