My 13 month DD has been crawling for just over a month now, and her knees are starting to look red and dry.

Is there something I should be applying to knees after bath time, other than moisturiser to stop this? Or is this just normal until she starts walking?

Maybe let her wear some jogger type pants ? Or does she wear them already ?

myotherbagisgucci · 03/02/2019 18:08

Yeah she wears joggers/jeggings/jeans, and my house is carpeted. I don't think they're sore, they just look red and dry.

Maybe a smear of something more medicinal than a moisturiser ? Sudocreme for example ?

Cheetahssitonfajitas · 03/02/2019 19:03

Sudocreme is very drying. It's the zinc. Use a heavy duty moisturiser such as epaderm.

Jacksback · 03/02/2019 19:06

I didn’t know that
It says for rashes , minor skin issues
Will read it again with my glasses on

Cheetahssitonfajitas · 03/02/2019 19:15

Yes to rashes. But not for very dry skin. It's the opposite of a moisturiser.

Thanks everyone, I've put some Aveeno on tonight. Hopefully that might help.
