Baby Walking Aid?

Hey all, I'm currently researching at a university and coming up with designs for new baby walkers. Out of interest, would you guys be willing to purchase radically different designs of baby walkers (such as a large frame that can carry the baby) or rather stick to conventional designs?

I might not be your target audience, as my dc are all grown, but my understanding is that walkers are not good for babies' development anyway. They shouldn't be encouraged to be 'walking' before they are ready, and also there also used to be issues around them tipping.

We have never used walkers but have given them trolleys that they can push.

Yes, I wouldn't purchase walkers at all. We have a push-along toy for when DD is ready for it though.

Aren’t jumperoo-type things fundamentally whole body supports? Or at least those similar with wheels rather than bouncers.

I seem to remember that our health visitor was strongly against using them for anything longer than 5 mins because they were bad for developing spines and hips before they were able to be independently weight bearing.

I wouldn’t have bought a baby walker that a baby sits in. I don’t think they’re great for child development.

We bought some push along toys instead.

Walkers that children sit in are not recommended by physios.
