I am looking at certain groups that my daughter can go to in order to become more independent and get out of the house for a while and also learn basic life skills.

I only know about the Rainbow group so what others can I look into :)?

How old is she ?

If Rainbow age (5 - 7) then she could go on a waiting list for Beaver Scouts (6 - 8).
At that age mine were all having swimming lessons.

Many dance or play football. What does she like doing ?

She is 6.

She likes doing gymnastics and is a big Tennis fan, as am I :).

Woodcraft Folk woodcraft.org.uk
There’s Girls Brigade which is slightly religious www.girlsb.org.uk
When she’s 7 she can do Badgers www.sja.org.uk/sja/young-people/badgers.aspx
She might be able to attend the local Wildlife Watch children’s group www.wildlifewatch.org.uk which meets monthly. Some groups won’t accept children until they are 8, other groups will accept younger children but sometimes you might have to accompany her. Contact your local group leader to find out.
