Cows milk

Hi all
Just wondering the best way to introduce cow's milk into my son's diet?
He'll be one next month and I was wondering if it's best to start with cereal and a few drinks through the day or substitute one bottle then the two ...
All help appreciated 🙃
Thanks

Has he never had it on cereal before? That's ok from 6 months.

Surely he has had butter and cheese? They are both made from cow’s milk or have you been not giving any cow’s milk.

I've just swapped my dd from formula to cows milk and I just swapped her bottles and she's been absolutely fine. Not even sure she noticed there was anything different!

I very rarely give dd cereal so this is the first time she has had cows milk properly

At one I just swapped DS formula for cows milk and same as above I don’t think he noticed. He only has a morning and night drink of milk, just need to swap from bottles to a beaker next!

You could mix it with the formula for a day or two if you want so he gradually gets used to the taste. As other posters have said, you can use cows milk before 12 months on cereal, custard, sauces etc just not as their main drink.

DS didn’t even notice when I switched his bottles cold turkey one day (he was eleven months and we’d run out of formula, seemed crazy to buy more).

Yeah I think after this tub we'll switch to cow's milk, he has it no bother in his cereal when he has that but unsure how he'll feel drinking it! Sure he'll be fine though. Thanks
