Teething question...

My almost 5 month DS is teething but so far I haven’t used any remedies on him
Ive been given some granules to help when it’s bad...but how do you know when it’s bad enough to use?

I don’t want to be using them every 5 mins and at the moment I don’t think it’s bothering him as his cheeks or gums aren’t that red or hot

I'd use them if he seemed uncomfortable or in pain. If he is upset rub his gums, if he calms down or starts biting then it most probably is the teething that's the issue.

He’s biting everything in sight but doesn’t seem too bothered at the moment so just unsure whether to give them or hold out

Give them a go and see if there is a big change in behaviour. If not it's maybe too soon to give (or they don't help his pain), if they do then you can recognise the signs next time.
