Afternoon all!
I was going to buy a balance trike that turns into a bike but not sure if age one is still a bit young? Family are all giving him money, not presents (their decision not mine).
I’ve got him some bits already (play tunnel, wooden puzzles, books, crayons) but was wondering about a marble run? Can anyone recommend one for a one year old please?

How about a micro scooter with seat? As he grows you can then just take the seat off. My 5 year old is still riding her mini micro so would get plenty of use out of it. It’s a great scooter

I don’t think he will be able to push himself along which is why I’m thinking not a balance bike yet. Bought him a sit on car for Xmas and his legs aren’t long enough to scoot himself along!
He loves cars and wheels and cogs that turn round.

It comes with a handle too. I think a lot of marble runs will be age 3+ because of the marbles being a choking risk. How about a little swing for the garden?

I remember a few months back seeing a marble run but with larger balls but can’t seem to find it now. Unfortunately the garden isn’t big enough for a swing or slide, luckily we’ve got two parks at the top of our road though which we were visiting twice a day during the summer Grin

I will have a look at the scooters you’ve mentioned, I didn’t realise they have a handle

Thank you!
I am also on the hunt for a pop up tent or wigwam to use in the garden during summer. And a water/sand table. Has anyone seen any bargains?!

Ikea circus tent, definitely. Ours is going strong after 5 years www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/childrens-ikea-products/children-3-7/small-furniture/cirkustält-childrens-tent-art-80342052/

That looks great, thank you! I could even put that in the living room on rainy days. Does it dismantle easy enough? I’ve been toying with the idea of buying a proper tent for the garden, a pop up one but I’m really not sure.
