What are the 12 week immunisations like?

The 8 week ones were awful.
DS screamed, fell asleep then screamed some more when he woke and then was grumpy for a few days.

Am I expecting the same again?

The 12 week ones are better, as I recall, and the 16 week ones are similar to the 8 week ones.

12 week ones were not as bad as the 8 week ones. My DS turned a deep shade of red & his scream was horrific.

No they aren't as bad as there is only 1 needle and the liquid in the mouth as opposed to 3 needles. Still horrible but also no risk of fever like the other two sets. Hope all goes well!

The 8 week ones were awful for my son (and me!!) He went bright red and screamed so loudly, it was heartbreaking. When we got home he slept for an hour and then screamed solidly for 2 hours. I was dreading a repeat at his 12 week jabs but it was so much better as it was just the one injection. He screamed and then cried but only for about 30 seconds and then he was fine. I'm not looking forward to the 16 week ones as they're 3 jabs again.

It's the meningitis B jab that can cause fever and is quite nasty. That's not included at the 12 weeks. I'd still advise Calpol as even as an adult injection sites can be sore but no risk of fever.
