What are you getting your baby for Christmas?

We weren’t planning to do much this year but I think I would feel guilty if DD had nothing to open (she’ll be 6 months!) and family members are asking what we’d like.

I was thinking a Jumperoo? (Even though they look massive), or maybe some baby musical instruments?

Any ideas? Smile

Some toys that will be sutible when she’s a little older, same with clothes and books. Teething toothbrushes, maybe a voucher for a family photo, babysitting vouchers .

At six months all she really wants is your attention!! All She wants you to do is sing/talk/smile at her. Books are great!! staking cups, shape cubes anything from early learning for two years and under. Just have a lovely first Christmas with your baby it’s a very special time!!

Hey OP.. My daughter is 6 months with long legs and yesterday I had to move her jumperoo upto the highest and last setting! She's been in it from 4ish months. I know it says 6 months but she's a strong baby and has always been fine in it. Glad I did start her in it early considering how big she's gotten 🙈

Basically I think a jumperoo is a great present! Mine got hers as an early Christmas present from my parents!

We’ve gone for keepsakes from us:

Personalisd Christmas Eve box
Personalised stocking
‘‘Twas the night before Christmas hardback book with a message from us
Personalised wooden blocks (DOB, weight, name etc)

Then from friends and family we’ve either asked for practical things (money for savings account, clothes a few sizes bigger, weaning things/things he needs) and then a few developmental toys like stacking cups, sensory things, bath toys and a ‘disco’ light that has lots of different coloured dots my DS loves at baby massage

We haven’t asked for lots of ‘things’ as he’s so small he won’t remeber or know what it is so thought practical was best and a few keepsakes from us to remember his first Christmas and things we can build into traditions into future years

When my DD was 6 months I don't think we bought her anything because she didn't need anything, so we put a bit of money in her account. Relatives bought her plenty of things which was for their pleasure mainly - but still much appreciated. MIL thought I was a very mean mummy....
