Why is my 6 month old waking every 10minutes to two hour?

To put it mildly, I'm losing my effing mind. I thought he may be teething, he's already got his bottom two teeth through so I've given him calpol, nurofen, anbesol and teething powder. I've made sure his naps and nap gaps have been spot on all day. He went down brilliantly.. for an hour. Now he's back to waking every 10 minutes. Does anyone have any experience with silent reflux?? Oh and just to add, his average waking time on a good night is two hours so he's a crap sleeper anyway. What am I doing wrong?

I don't think you are doing anything wrong, most babies will go through the same. He could be growing through a sleep regression, how does he go down? Is he breastfed? Does he have a dummy? The clockwork wakenings are him going through sleep cycles and needing help from you to get back to sleep

He's combination fed and he doesn't have a dummy. I just don't know what to do for the best!

Does he fall asleep feeding/being cuddled? And then transferred to cot?

Following as my baby is the exact same

Generally he falls asleep either on the boob or bottle but will other times fall asleep being rocked or will sometimes go to sleep in his cot after ten minutes of patting his back

So apparently the key to help stop night wakenings is by getting baby to fall asleep on their own without boob/bottle/rocking etc, putting them down drowsy but awake. Either said than done though. Going through the same with dd2, who I co-sleep with and she bobs on and off the boob all night which I'd rather not do but at least I'm able to get some sleep.

I learnt a lot off dd1 who was a terrible sleeper, putting them down drowsy but awake should help but I also believe it is something which will come with age and until then just do what you have to do to get some sleep x

Mine is doing this too.

Im contemplating leaving him out instead of a mince pie for santa.

Some nights he does 2 hours others 20 mins

Some night he sleep peacefully with me other nights he is to restless with me.

Im zombified at the minute.
