Hi all,

Help! My 8 month old seems to have these tantrums, all of a sudden he will just mak3 a noise like he is crying but he is actually shouting really loud in what seems to be a tantrum. He has always been a chilled happy little boy I don’t understand what has changed.

Very worried confused first time mum, any advise? Is it a phase?

TIA

Hi I feel like my little boy is doing this sometimes too (he is a little under 8 month). I don't really have any advice as I'm sort of in the same boat, he's generally happy, but every now and again he gets really fussy and it seems like he's a bit frustrated and screams right in my face for no apparent reason? Can I ask how is yours developing skills like crawling etc? Mine is doing really well and has been crawling for a while now which is great, the only thing is now he pulls himself up onto any piece of furniture he can (doesn't like floor play any more) and sort of gets stuck because he can't walk. I only ask how yours is getting on because I remember mine being a bit whingey and getting himself upset when he could only pull himself along the floor but not crawl properly. Just thinking it could be the same thing again with mine, more frustration at themselves than anything else. When he's like this I try to tick every box of things that could be upsetting him but have never really pinned anything down. eventually he just calms down and cheers up????? Any advice from others happily received

I agree, probably frustration if he’s trying to crawl and/or pull himself up. Mine went through a brief stage of this which stopped once she got mobile! Worse to come once they’re toddlers though so prepare yourself Smile

Check his gums. He could be teething. Poor little guy!
