Flying with pushchair (Easyjet)

I have a flight in a few weeks time with Easyjet. It will just be me and our 9 month old. I know I can bring a pushchair with me and can gate check it, but I really don't need it in the airport (will have a sling, which is much more handy). Does anyone know if I can check it at the regular bag drop rather than at the gate (and for free)? It seems sensible that I'd be able to because it's all going in the same place anyway and as I'll be travelling alone, I really don't need the extra hassle of one more thing to drag with me through the airport. But I wasn't sure if this was some privledge that Easyjet is likely to want to charge me for?

I haven’t flown easy jet but with the 3 other airlines I’ve flown with with a baby yes you could leave push chair st bag drop

Hi I’ve recently flown with easyJet and yes you can check it in for free. They asked me if I wanted the pushchair in the hold or with me. We kept it as I didn’t have a sling at the time but the whole process was really easy.

Yes you definitely can do that. We did exactly that with easyJet.

Yes you can- I’ve done this with easyJet once with a pushchair and twice with a car seat, It’s infant equipment and included in the lap infant fare so doesn’t count as a checked bag.

Great, thanks very much! This will make life much easier. One less thing for me to haul around the airport with me.

yes but if you can, take a cheap maclaren style that doesn't mind getting broken. easyjet broke our bugaboo on the outward leg of a trip and it was only possible to get reimbursed because I had all the original reciepts + photos of the damage and it still took a long time.
