Baby is gaining weight just fine (in fact, he’d risen above his usual 75th percentile at his last weighing), and seems happy and content in himself, but ever since he was about 10 weeks he doesn’t seem to be saturating nappies as much or as frequently as he did prior to 10 weeks (he’s currently 23 weeks). Brought this up to a few different health professionals but nobody seems to be concerned because of his weight gain and the fact that he’s absolutely fine in himself.
He used to produce a good 5/6 decently wet nappies a day, but now it’s around 4 - and even those aren’t as heavy as they used to be (only the morning one).
He doesn’t feed as often as he used to (exclusively breastfed, fed on demand), but that’s because he doesn’t get hungry as often as he used to. If I wanted him to feed more regularly, I’d be force-feeding him.
How many decently wet nappies are your little ones of a similar age getting through a day?
Any thoughts?
