taking nappy off in bed every night. Help!

My 23 month old girl is taking her nappy off several times a night now. She is very occasionally peeing in a potty or toilet, and almost always gets to the potty in time (after several attempts) for a poo during the day. She obviously hates the feeling of a wet nappy so is anticipating a wee in the night by taking off her nappy before it happens. She can do this with nappy on backwards or pull ups, and regardless of whatever she is wearing in bed. Even with a zip up sleepsuit she'll pull the nappy down to where her foot should be, but keep the suit on! I change the sheets, duvet, vest/pyjamas/sleepsuit and put the (bone dry!) nappy back on 2 or 3 times a night.
Beginning to get pretty fed up now(me). Any suggestions please?

There was a thread on this very recently, and the most useful suggestion was duct/gaffer tape IIRC.

I know it's not ideal but we had this problem once and solved it using zip up sleepsuits with a safety nappy pin through the suit under the zip so that the zip can't be pulled down.

The suit is usually left in place (zip or poppers) but she pulls the nappy down inside it!

you could buy a couple of reusable night time nappies with poppers. if you're washing bedding every night than this in my opinion is a much better option.

Could you use the safety nappy pins to pin the nappy in place through the sleepsuit, stopping it being pulled down?? Or use a pull-up which couldn't be pulled down as would get stuck? We have this problem with dd2 who enjoys exploring her pooey nappies and then wiping it on the curtains, bed, in her hair etc etc!! Well and truly fed up of it now, have just received a zip-up the back sleepsuit so hoping this may do the trick?!

what about putting her in a sleep suit then i a grobag?

worth a try i reckon.... grobag with a safety pin to keep the zip done up!

My 21 month old charge goes to bed in a back to front sleep suit at the moment causehe likes taking his nappy off at night too.... i KNOW its not fun!
