Starting to sort a few bits for DS for christmas, so far our list is

  • bath toys

He has a jumperoo he loves so need some ideas to ideally see him through til his first birthday

His favourite is my handbag and our dog lead. Grin
No really, anything new! We had a fisher price puppy piano (he loved that) from 5 months, but at 9 months he’s no longer interested. He’s got a crèche walker which has a thing you can take off and play with, has buttons and music etc, he has a pretend plastic key ring which makes sounds, shakers, rattles, stackers (which he prefers to destroy rather than stack). And then generally anything which he’s not allowed to touch- he much prefers those things- my keys, my phone, my laptop.

For bath toys we got the little rubber animals (can’t rememver what they’re called) that squirt water out of them. He loves being squirted in the bath!

Vtec walker!

My flip flops whether on my feet or off, my watch, phone and iPad.

For actual baby toys, a fisher price phone and a toy remote for my two.

Stacking cups/beakers.
Tomy Hide & Squeak eggs.
Vtech First Steps walker (depending on their eagerness to stand).

Stacking cups and push along trolley

Granny's glasses
Wooden spoon
His hairbrush
The dog
My slippers

(Clearly, we're cruel parents, but he really isn't as excited about actual toys as he is about the above...)

Have already got him a few next size up vests and dungarees for Christmas, and planning to get books as we haven't got many. He'll only be 10 months, so just wrapping paper and a box should do nicely.

I was thinking a walker so ill add that to the list, i really want to be minimal so im glad that most of the little ones are happy with things that aren't toys

My little girl is that age. I've asked for a book cart that she can use as a walker, a gro clock, some nice wooden toys, clothes in 12-18. I'm also a bit stumped though! So many relatives!

My DS loves the tv remotes, my keys, emptying my handbag, emptying the Tupperware cupboard. And not really interested in toys , however does love his beatbo, he loves music and dancing so it's perfect.

A toy shopping trolley and a push along walker.
