Is a low, quiet wail with big gaps a tired cry? I have always suspected yes.

I read about this somewhere and I don't even have babies but thought it was interesting. Q pricey videos though.

jalopy · 15/06/2007 20:01

Out of 12 posts, 9 of them are yours, cod.

PinkMartini · 15/06/2007 20:02

LOL jalopy

edam · 15/06/2007 20:12

It is jolly interesting but can't help being suspicious - could all be in the editing. If I had a baby I'd be interested in trying it out.

ProfYaffle · 15/06/2007 20:22

Dammit! dd2 is 16 weeks, why couldn't I have known this 16 weeks ago?

msappropriate · 15/06/2007 20:26

the baby whisperer has something like it but much more complicated. I tend to interepret every cry as hunger and have no idea how "eair" would sound. I wish that I had that one on the website.

Elibean · 15/06/2007 22:35

Yup, this is amazing. Showed to dh who is also amazed and fascinated, and can't wait to try out theory on dd.

dd2, that is, who at six months still actually says 'neh' when hungry. Does that mean I listened to her and responded fast?

dd1 said 'leh' from the start, which sounds exactly like the French for 'milk' (lait). Either faulty sound reflex, or sheer genius (she's a quarter French)....

midnightexpress · 16/06/2007 12:50

mine both said 'leh' too and so did their cousins Elibean

LordVenger · 16/06/2007 13:03

bananabump · 16/06/2007 13:17

Aitch · 16/06/2007 13:40

lol lordvenger. who would do such a thing? dd used to yell ALLAH! when she was hungry. most embarassing in church.

Frizbe · 16/06/2007 13:42

Aitch dd2 did Allah as well

KindlyOldGrannysleeves · 16/06/2007 13:43
