Taking baby to the dentist

This probably sounds like a really stupid question. But I've got a dentist appointment today that I need to go too, but I've got no one to have 9 month old DD. Also, my dentist is not pram friendly (it's a converted house with steep steps and my dentist is upstairs 🙄.)

Do you think I could just take DD with me and sit her on my lap on the dental chair?

I'm not having any work done, it's just a check up and a teeth clean.

Thankfully my dentist is only round the corner so I could carry her round, I had considered putting her in the car seat. But I'm 17 weeks pregnant and she weighs a ton in it.

I took the baby car seat along when ds was little, even when he was too big to use it in the car. I don't think they would be able to do anything with them on your lap.

Thanks @LIZS I think I'll just have to chance it and take her round in the car seat. X

Absolutely fine. To be honest I'd have just booked her an appointment at the same time, assuming she has at least one tooth!

Yeah she has actually got one tooth and another coming through. I didn't even think of making her an appointment too. 🤦🏻‍♀️
