Removing DD from nursery

My DD is almost 3 and has been in nursery full time since 1.5 years old. I now work from home and have flexible hours. I’d rather not spend twice my rent on fees. I want to remove her from the nursery, how do I go about it? Would I have to give notice and pay for the remainder of the month after she leaves? She’s signed up for pre-school in February so not worried about her having a bit of time away from other children

You will need to look at your contract, or speak to the Nursery to ask what your notice period is. Nurseries are individual businesses so will have set their own T&Cs.

Check the contract, usually months notice, but if it's cost why not send until notice expires? And if you're employed, do they know your toddler is at home?

It's normally a months notice in writing , as pp's have said why not just send her for the notice period so she can say her goodbyes etc . Are you planning on working full time from home in the hours she is asleep ??
