How should I dress my 10 month old for a long haul flight?

vest, sleep suit and cardigan. Bring an extra blanket too as it does get quite chilly on board especially if it's an overnight flight.

agree. something comfy and easy to add/remove layer. plus spares.

yes to sleepsuit. take a few changes in a ziploc back so that you can put soiled/puked at/spilled on clothes away.

Comfy clothes and layers.

And spare clothes for yourself

SeaToSki · 25/09/2018 17:21

Something without loads of poppers. You want easy changes

I just took my 11 month old on a 8 hour flight. She wore long sleeved vest and leggings. And I had a cardigan. Sleepsuit would be a nightmare trying to get all the poppers done!

I took 3 sets of clothes and she used them all

Don’t forget at least one total change of clothes for yourself - when she spills your drink or poos on your leg.

KingIrving · 26/09/2018 06:49

Agree with all above, especially a spare change for yourself. Also add a small towel if you need to wash her after a leaking poo.
Add also a big robust plastic bag if - as said - a drink is spilled and you can put wet clothes away.
On a flight Sydney-London, during the quiet dark time, an hostess tripped while carrying a tray full of glasses and they all fell on the woman two rows in front of me. Since then, I carry a change for myself too.

Yes change of clothes for yourself! It was actually my 3 year old that spilled something on me, but traveling with kids definitely expect to be disgusting by the end of your trip
