How do I keep my 14 mo warm at night?

She won't keep a quilt over her! Have tried the sleeping bag again as she has been without it during summer and she woke up twice and managed to get it off.

I've got babygros but I don't think that and a vest is warm enough.

Help please 😊

Thanks @sleepismysuperpower1 very good idea I hope that this can help. Any ideas in the mean time?

you could try tucking the duvet/quilt under the matress at the sides, which means she shouldn't be able to get it off as easily

What kind of sleeping bags are they? I found gro bags more resistant to smal fingers, or popper ones put on backwards to make the snaps tougher against tugging.

Sleeping bag just from matalan/Sainsbury's with poppers on shoulders and zip down sides. I could try backwards thank you!

My son has never liked blankets etc since being a newborn.
The only time he ever asks for one is if he's ill.
When he was young I used to just put him in a vest and babygro or full length PJ's with socks, if it was colder weather I'd just get the fleecey PJ's or onesies. He obviously didn't get cold.
Now he's older I make the bed a bit more snuggly for him by putting pillows all around him, he still doesn't have a duvet or blanket.

Honestly if it really bothers your dc then thicker PJ's are the answer

I had this exact same problem ans solved it by a fleece onesie (without a hood) over pyjamas...boots do them. Worked brilliantly and still does now she's three.

Thanks @MamaHechtick and @Iamthestorm very good idea! Have tried back to front sleeping bag so will see how that goes for now 😊

I used fleece onesies over a babygrow. I also had an oil filled radiator on low if it was extremely cold.

The Grocompany Gro to bed. It's a duvet that zips to the bottom sheet so stays in place. I don't have any experience of how good it is as I only discovered it myself today.

Dress her in layers, thick jumper, extra layer on the bottom above the babygro and socks.

I've just bought one of these for my son who hates blankets, am yet to try it but the label says it has a 2.5 tog and works like a sleeping bag

I used to use a fleece onesie over normal pjs for my sleeping bag hating toddler. Primark used to sell them, not sure if they still do as it was a few years ago for me now!
