Is this ok? An average day:

Breakfast
Porridge with strawberries and blueberries

Snack
Crumpet or slice of toast and butter
Cup of milk

Lunch
Cheese sandwich, small yoghurt, handful of Ella's kitchen puffs

Snack
Banana and cup of milk

Dinner
Whatever we eat. Typically spaghetti bolognese, shepherds pie, or similar.
Fruit pot or part of our dessert if we are having a treat.

Cup of milk before bed

Sips of water throughout the day

Thank you, I'm inspired by another thread, coupled up with me winging it through parenthood and trying to make it look like I know what I'm doing 😂🙈

Looks good, that's better than my one year old.

You'll get odd responses though, on these threads you'll get people who'll say not enough protein, too much sugar and probably too much processed stuff because of the puffs. They're bonkers though.

My 17 month old had yesterday
Breakfast- half a slice of toast
Lunch- cheese sandwich, a banana and some cucumber
Tea- pasta will tomato sauce and broccoli and carrot.

Sounds good to me. The only thing that occurred to me reading that is that at lunch I give DD a handful of chopped up tomatoes or cucumber to go with a sandwich if she's having one.

Looks really good to me, although I agree with trying to get some veg into lunch (or failing that less sugary fruit like an apple).
Beware that the ‘hidden sugar’ brigade will be along shortly to tell you how there is sugar in everything including the bread, pasta and sauce! Someone on a previous thread described grapes as ‘little sacks of sugar’ Hmm My DS basically gets whatever fruit he wants, I still maintain it’s better than cake and biscuits!

Looks good to me :) my DD is 16 months. Agree with PPs about giving some fruit or veg at lunch as well, not that my daughter will actually eat any veg...

Thanks for the advice everyone, I fully agree on the lunchtime point!

Under no circumstances will he eat tomato, maybe if I hide it IN the sandwich? HmmGrin. Cucumber definitely worth a try though!
