Shall we move 18mth old into own room?

Currently have LG in our room (in her cot with side off, pushed up against our bed) for first 7 months she was in a swinging crib next to the bed- moved her into her cot in her bedroom once she outgrew it but she never settled well and often ended up in our bed, especially as she was unwell alot in her first year.By the time she was 12/13 months she was in our bed every night from about 11/12pm and it was getting very uncomfortable for all of us so we came to the current compromise- co sleeping but in her cot.I do find she gets easily disturbed by us and wonder now she is older and understands more we should try it again? I am still breastfeeding and have unsuccessfully attempted night weaning but she wasn't ready and just got really upset, even when offered comfort and a drink instead.I wondered if moving her into her room might help cut down the night waking (and night feeding) or whether it might backfire and mean I am spending all night in and out her room settling and feeding her.I know we won't know for sure til we try as all toddlers are different, but just would be interested to hear others experiences and opinions. Thanks in advance!

I should add that I was thinking I could try the cot with the side off still so she isn't enclosed (which she hates) and use a bed guard and stairgate for her room door so we don't have to shut her in

My DS was like this. He's 16 months and we just moved him to his room. He went into a toddler bed as he hated cot and was working well. He was still coming into our bed but at 5am. Last week he has been teething and has regressed 😣 but once these teeth are through he will be back in his bed.

Queen that's not safe sleep advice. Your child may have been fine but young babies need to be in the same room as their caregiver for all sleeps until at the very least 6 months to reduce SIDS risk.

I understand that,I genuinely didn't know that at the time my child is older now
