It's like she's always hungry!

My LO is 5 months and some days.

She's EBF and recently has gone back to feeding every hour to hour and a half from the time she gets up (6am) to the time she goes to bed (8 or 9pm). She feeds for 20 minutes or more.

She's fussy and grumpy when she feeds and if I try and stretch out the time between feeds she screams until I cave. I've tried introducing food as it just feels like I'm not enough anymore but she's not willing to try.

My partner leaves everyday at 6.30am and doesn't get home until 7pm for work. I've no family close by and I feel like I'm at the end of my tether and failing.

Help. What can I do? Before I cry again. Am I just producing enough milk anymore?

She'll be getting ready for a massive developmental leap, such as crawling. It's hard, but you will get through it. It's very unlikely that your supply will have reduced.

My daughter did that, and continued having the odd 3-5 day period where she would just feed like MAD over a couple of months. Usually these coincided with growth spurts. I can relate to feeling at the end of your tether! Try to get out as much as you can, and feed her under a cover or something if that works for you. It helped me a lot just getting some fresh air and a change of scenery! And the good news for me was, after those few days of intense feeding, she’d usually have 1-2 days of MEGA naps which felt very liberating! I’m talking 2-4 hours of peace. Fingers crossed you’re in for a similar break soon! :-) Do keep trying with the solids though. Around that age, a bit of veg and protein can help the baby feel full for longer. My daughter started on VERY runny purées. The shop-bought stuff was always too thick, even the ones geared at 4 months. Maybe try watering her food down or mixing with a bit of breast milk if she’s not taking to it? Good luck!
