Hi. I am currently using Kushies on DD who is 18lbs 10oz but they are not fitting very well around her legs now. I am thinking of buying some size 2 but not sure what sort to go for. I need some recommendations please. My friends just brought some Tots bots Bamboozles and to be honest I wasn't overly inpressed with the quality and size 2 will swamp my DD. Any suggestions please?

ooh nappy retail therapy

You could go for a set of large fuzzi bunz stuffed with microfibre - slim fitting and will last her out of nappies - also will dry so much quicker than your kushies.

ellas house bumhuggers - slim and fleece lined for dryness - lots of cool patterns

.. so many, don't know where to start - can you borrow a hire kit from someone to try more out?

ooo now she is a bit bigger why dont you give some funky pockets a go? other than that no quality of bamboozles is debatable of late but bambineos are just as good performance wise if not better and a toot cheaper - bamboozles come in nice colours but when ther hidden under a wrap i dont see the point imho

Bambineos will swamp her too though if you go for anything other than nippa.

Pockets could work well - I'm liking fuzzis, and swaddlebees at the moment.

If you want a nappy/wrap combo there are the swaddlebees organic velours - either sized or one size, or the fast drying sized pocket nonpocket thing they have goin on.

If you want an all in one, look at the Popolini Easyfix nappy, they come with a booster (which you may not need right away), don't leak, and are nice and absorbent. Or Nature Babies Stuffables are also good, use a microfibre insert or hemp booster to keep it slim.

If you're curious about a 2 part system you might be best off looking out for a few second hand, or finding a nappy trial scheme so you can borrow a few to compare and see if you like any of them before you get down to buying! Nature Babies Diddy Diapers in size 2 are good, I also like Mother-ease Sandy's (good for runny poo moments!), the cotton Tots Bots nappies are a reliable choice too...so many nappies, I never found it easy to settle on just one favourite!
