Help please pimples on newborn skin?

I'm pretty sure my first DD had this but I cant remember what I did to get rid (if anything). However my second DD is 5 weeks & she has these pimples on the side of her face & on her neck (under her chin) the area of that skin feels really rough & bumpy. Sometimes they are really red.
Is there anything I can put on it to get rid or do I just leave it be for it to go on its own?

Does anyone know what it might be?

My ds has this as a baby - been told by gp and dermo that we shouldn't let people touch his face or kiss him as that just aggravates it. We put cetraben and some sudocrem on it and it was fine

My dd had this, I just made sure I was using fairy non bio with no softener etc, we used child's farm moisturiser on it which definitely helped (its brilliant) and tried to keep the area as clear as possible

Are you breastfeeding? If do breastmilk should clear that up. Look up milk baths aswell (again with breastmilk). It worked wonders for us and also cured her sticky eye!

My wee one still gets this it seems to be sensitive skin. So if something itchy touches his face it breaks out also if he gets too hot. I'm just leaving it just now as it m&s not bothering him

It looks like baby acne to me. It's pretty common and will clear up soon.

Perfectly normal baby acne. More likely with breastfed babies but will clear up on its own. Don't put creams on it

Thanks everyone, I'm not breastfeeding. I have always used fairy non bio etc. I shall leave alone then it's not bothering her at all, I just wasn't sure if it was something I should see the gp about.

My little one had quite bad skin when he was a baby, it was so sore it looked like eczema - gp recommended Vaseline, I covered the area in a thin later a few times a day, within a week it cleared up and his skin looked beautiful (also acts as a barrier for dribble) 😊

My dd had this and I tried aveeno but tbh creams seemed to make it worse. Just keep face clean and it will go away on its own.
