All day my boy is fine, breastfeeds well and still only has a small amount of throw up now after feeds. Happy baby!
He's 2 months old.

Night time on the other hand is horrendous! Goes down anywhere between 8-10pm,
Wakes up around 1-3 for a feed..... and this is where the fun starts.....

He then is burped... this takes ages in between him crying, nappy needs changing but I know as soon as he is laid on his back...he's sick... then is changing sheets, outfits, nappy again!
Then he gets hiccups... and what seems to be colic like symptoms... punching the air, legs right up... crying sooo much....he's wide awake!!! And does NOT want to go back to sleep at all, nothing soothes him either ....Exhausting!!
Why!?
He will get only 4 hours sleep in total.
Im a walking zombie!
Being up from 3pm it's mental draining.....

does anyone have any idea or tips of what I can do!! I may have tired them... as I feel Iv tried a lot... but open to ideas!

I had a similar problem with wind at that time in the morning and found that laying my ds on his side helped him drift into a deeper sleep without his tummy hurting. Not sure if it just helps the wind move without so much pain. Then when he had floppy arms so in a deep sleep I could roll him onto his back gently. Then if he had tummy ache he wiggled his legs etc but stayed asleep! I found this by accident but it meant I was awake for 40mins instead of 3 hours! Obviously don’t leave him sleeping on his side.
My ds is 17 weeks now and has all his daytime naps on his side else he won’t sleep at all!!
It does get better Brew

Have you tried tilting one end of his cot? This might help with the vomiting from being on his back. DS was an awful puker when he was that age and this seemed to help, also keeping him upright for about 20 mins after a feed (which is killer during the night when all you want to do is go back to sleep).

I've no other real advice but you have my sympathy. DS is 4 months old and used to be a great sleeper, 4 month sleep regression now has him waking between 11/12 for a feed then wide awake chatting away from 4am Confused I'm running on empty these days because he wakes frequently between 12-4.

It's exhausting and hopefully someone will be along soon with some better advice.

I stopped burping my DD after feeds and I don't change her nappy either if it's only wet from a wee. This way she doesn't really wake up properly and falls asleep much easier. She's now 4 months old and over her colic and sleep from 9-7 or 9 with 1 or two feeds at 4ish and again at 7. With the 7am feeds she either falls asleep again or wakes up for the day. If she falls asleep I take my chance for a few hours more sleep.. Cause I can! Also if she was sick, but only a little (I'm talking like the size of 2x 2ps) I would just do my best to wipe it up and then leave it at that. Basically just do as little fuss as possible so that you're not awake for hours. We were the same as your.. Awake from 3:30am onwards. But once I stopped fussing she did loads better. She even sleeps all the way through sometimes. She did this firstly at 3 months!

Best of luck to you!

Also (touch wood) she is never sick in her crib and more and has only ever been a few times.. Don't want people to think I left her to sleep in a wet patch every night!

I feed lying on my side then when he’s asleep scoop him into his side sleeper. Works 95 % of the time.
