Girls and their ways - when to intervene

My dd is 8 and struggling since she started back school- have often felt they need to find their own way but dd is actively being ignored by girls in our small village. Have you ever intervened and reached out to their mothers? I know them to say hi to but not well. They used to invite her to their parties but not it’s got more obviously excluded. Like from brownies tonight my dd was chatting to me and didn’t notice they were looking back at her and talking about her. Know the girl is having a party this weekend but dd not invited. Another friend she as getting on with is now doing the same thing to her (the girl knows these two were speaking to her and keeps walking away and shrugging off dd). I feel
Like I should say something to their mums but dd saying they’re not nasty to her (just me seeing the roll their eyes
And walking off worries me as it’s so rude when dd is just trying to join in).

Personally I wouldn't intervene. I have a niece and know all about girls and their ways, but unless your daughter is particularly upset about it, I wouldn't bother.

Maybe it's just me, but I would prefer to teach my child resilience in situations like this. Not everyone is going to be your friend, but if she can make new friends or doesn't give the girls what they want (an emotional reaction) then she'll do well imo.
