Interacting with newborn

Probably a really stupid question and if so I will happily blame it on baby brain Wink
Little lady is 11 days old and the past few days she's started staying awake for longer periods (around 1-2 hours at a time) and since it's been 7 years since my first I'm trying to remember the best way to make the most of this time.
We do tummy time and singing but is there anything else I can be doing?
Thank you :D

Cuddles, stare into eyes, take her to look at garden etc

2 hours is a very long time to be awake at that age

You can get newborn books which have black and white pictures in them. It stimulates babies mind. I have a 4 week old and she loves hers! ☺️

Thanks ladies! I’ve looked into a tummy time mirror and the black and white books sound fab.

Put her in a stretchy wrap sling and spend time with other adults - she will be fascinated and love to be a part of the human interaction :)

I narrated my daily life 😂 just things like 'ooh let's go to the shop' put DS into a sling then 'ooh look at the clouds/bird/tree'. It felt like I was on reality Tv 😂
