My little one turns 4 in a few weeks nd we are shifting the baby bottles at bedtime.
Yes before anyone jumps down my throat I am aware that she shouldn't still be taking a baby bottle to bed, she only has water in it & is dry through & will get up for a wee if she needs to.
She only has the one she takes to bed I never re-fill or get a new one through the night, it's just a comfort / bad habit.
We was going to take it away when she turned three but we moved house and I read when you have a big change not to do it, then 2 months ago I had her sister so again another big change for her.

Anyway!!
We are giving them to the bottle fairy who is going to leave somthing in return... bit like the tooth fairy lol.
I just wondered If putting a sippy cup / water cup in her room is a good idea seeing is she is used to having a drink and also these hot nights (here in the uk) I'm not opposed to her having a drink with her.

I don't want a normal cup incase it gets spilt in the bed, but we do have those 360 cups...

Basically I am asking what kind of cup people send their little ones to bed with.SmileHalo

My eldest is also nearly 4 and I just send her with a normal cup. What does she drink from in the daytime? I'd just mirror that I think

If mine want water they have a reusable sports cap bottle.

Yeah she has normal cups through the day - some of her cups have straws/sports cap for when we out and about.

Thanks guys!

The 360 ones are the least spillable in my experience

LollyLollington · 07/08/2018 18:27

Yeah we use those 360 cups for 4 yr old to take to bed. Great in hot weather.

IfYouDontImagineNothingHappens · 07/08/2018 18:41

Normal cup. Less likely to lie in bed and suck on it, will have to sit up or get out of bed to take a drink so will only drink if they are thirsty and therefore less wet overnight

Same here. 360 cup on the 4.5yo's bedside table and the smaller 360 cup with handles in the almost 2yo's cot. Just make sure to remove the top valves and wash them well regularly as mould grows really easily and quickly if you leave the valves on, especially in this heat.
