Quiet Room at a Party

Next weekend we are hosting a big party at our home and a couple of the guests will have babies under one. We'd like to set up a quiet room upstairs for feeding/naps etc. We're due our first in February so don't have much gear yet but want to make it as comfortable as possible.

Any suggestions on what mums will want and how to set up the room for the best?

Thanks :) x

Comfy chairs/cushions, jugs of water and some snacks - fruit, cheese board etc.

That is such a lovely thoughtful idea. Yes I second comfy seats and cushions, drinks and snack. I think maybe a couple of Muslins and wipes. But I think just having that area would be lovely .

Oohh one thing I liked also was for the lighting to be quite dim, but that just might be my preference

Somewhere nice and quite and comfortable to sit would be grand. A jug/bottles of water would be good and if you really want to lay out some snacks then crisps would be great but no need for cheese boards etc. They will all have phones to entertain themselves while baby sleeps or feeds and will probably just love having the space.

I would have everything I needed for feeding/naps in my change bag. But a quiet dark cool room with a comfy chair, cushions and some bottles of water would be very appreciated. Also room to put the buggy for sleeping! Such a lovely idea!

If you happen to have a tv in a room upstairs anyway leave the remote handy but only if it's already in there!

Put a notice on the door so that people don't go in looking for their coats.

Potential for as dark as possible and somewhere to change the baby. Msybe a baby monitor if you have one or can borrow one

If you have a room downstairs that might be better, then parents can wheel the pram in there and have somewhere to put the baby down to sleep. Otherwise you're stuck there with a sleeping baby in your arms!

Corrected that for you.
Why don't you ask the actual parents involved?Confused

A fan if you have one would be good or just the coolest room.
