Can an 11mth old have bottled water?

That might be a barmy question, i don't know. Better to ask these things i reckon!

I have been giving my DD bottled water since she was 8 months! I think it only has to be boiled up until 6 months (that's what HV told me anyway!).

was wondering because i'm going on holiday with him Tuesday, and i want to make sure he has water when we're out and about, but boiled / tap water might not be readily available, but mineral water would be more so.

The French use evian to make up bottles all the time, so I'm told. If you go abroad, it's better to use bottled water than boiled tap water, a friend of mine was told. I would give my 11 month old bottled water, but then I'd probably give them non boiled tap water too.

PG, my HV said that my dd could only have evian up to a year, because of the high sodium content in some of the other mineral waters, so i guess it would be wise to monitor those. It might be worth taking some with you as if it is hot you will get through loads. I now give DD water out of the tap (20m). But obviously you cannot do this abroad.Have a great holiday

Spring water OK, mineral water not OK, IIRC.
