With my 1st ds we just brought the Moses basket downstairs everyday but I’m looking for alternatives with my 2nd. Just for ease and space saving downstairs really! Seen quite a few rockers/swings etc but not sure if they fully recline and can be used for long naps? What does everyone else use?

I've been using my pram or the baby box.

I found the moses basket the best thing with my second. Could put it anywhere - although on top of the dining table or somewhere was good as the toddler couldn't reach to poke her Grin Equally though she could just go on the floor near us while I was playing with DC1 etc.

A sleepyhead or the bassinet from the pram, I had the Uppababy Cruz bassinet so safe for long sleeps.

My baby used to either nap on a blanket on the sofa or on her play mat. At about 3 months we moved her naps to her cot upstairs.

The Baby Bjorn Bouncer is designed to be used from birth onwards and folds flat for storage. It's been designed with Paediatric/Physio input so is safe for newborn babies. We've just bought one.

We used the carrycots from the pram or we had a fab bouncy chairs that had a flat sleep setting.

Pram bassinet? I had an Uppababy Vista which was lovely and roomy. Poor daughter #2 used to get parked in it in the dining table to stop daughter #1 for poking her.

A sling?

Mummymummymummmeeeee · 04/08/2018 17:41

I used the carrycot from the pram as it was easy to take them from room to room around the house

We also use the Tiny Love 3 in 1 rocker napper. Love it. It's been particularly handy as both children have had some degree of reflux and you can elevate the top. DS also loved the mobile/light/music attachment when he got a bit older - it was the first thing I could put him down in for more than 5mins. Hoping DD loves it as much!
