Priming our daughter during court case

Hello my lovelies,

Please help! :)

Has anyone had any experience/got advice on priming children to go live with an ex?

We are in the middle of a court case. It was a very simple one at first, then caffcass got involed and it spiraled into a section7. After that, he then started to prime our daughter to say that dad was the best and that she needs to say she wants to live with him. She has never lived with him, just stayed there with good access. Before this, access worked really well.

Anyway, caffcass said that our daughter expressed a dire need to go live with him, yet couldnt express why. I filmed my daughter months ago telling me that if such and such (our cafcass officer) comes to school, this is what you must say to her'.

He is very controlling and he is now making out i'm an unfit mother cos of mental health reasons. He cant prove this and Ive proved ive not needed any help in this area with docs notes. I have another child so i'm sure the courts wont even consider splitting them up. I worry one minute, then i dont the next.

What do you think? Any advice? Been through this?

Thanks a lot:)

Thanks Branleuse,

She's only 6. She's such a sweetheart, very bubbly girl.

I've been through this.

It was hard to communicate about it without making it seem like I was slagging my ex off.
The three planet model of family court etc helped me understand why it was all so complicated.

I tried to act reasonably and hoped the court would see who was the difficult and dishonest one.
It all came right in the end but it was harrowing. It did affect my relationship with one of my children but a few years on we are OK.

She is probably too young to decide with whom she wishes to live, and I'm not sure a court will accept her evidence such as it is, as being her own. It depends on the cafcass report too.
