Just a thread for some adventure and activity ideas.

Boys are starting to get easier. I'd love to hear your favourite free activities that you do with your little ones. My 18m old is an adventurer and climber. 6m old not very patient but would love some ideas to start getting busy

The National Trust have a project called 50 Things to do before you're 11 and 3/4 (three-quarters).

18 months is when my DC started to enjoy swings and slides so lots of trips to local playgrounds! At about the same time they started to enjoy playing in sand, so we got a sandpit and made sandcastles together.
Trips to duck ponds to feed the ducks.
I think it was about 18 months that we took my oldest to a farm park. We had a ride around the farm in the tractor and trailer and stroked lots of animals.
It's also a good age for soft play centres.
Make something really simple together in the kitchen like ice lollies in yogurt pots, a sandwich or make some gingerbread men for them to decorate.
Go fruit picking for raspberries or blackberries.
Grow cress.
Do potato printing.
Hide some little toy animals around the house and garden.
Go to the local library.
Make and paint salt dough ornaments.

Farm park/petting zoo
Soft play
Playpark
Museums (science ones usually have a kids section and lots to touch, but they've all got something aimed at kids)
National Trust (always something fun)
Messy play (I found a fabulous one which did had a selection of messy stations each session, and 6&18mths is a perfect age)
Ikea (mine, albeit a little older love a trip there...kids department is lovely to have a play in, and the restaurant does a good kids meal)
Garden Centres (you have to trial a few, but I've found one which always gave kids activities on, and often they have a 'club' to join - £10/year buys a 10% discount and 2 free coffees a month in my area)
Playgroup
Library
Painting (with actual paint or just water)
Building dens
