A- Talk. As in attempt to repeat words back to you that you say.
&
B- feed themselves using a spoon.
Appreciate any comments!

My 7 month DD has repeated dada and hiya on a few occasions, and can pick up a spoon and put in her mouth. She can't actually feed herself though.

My first started talking at 13 months and fed herself with a spoon probably around that time too. We did blw so she ate from a spoon I preloaded for her before then, but in terms of actually scooping it up herself, probably about 13-15 months.

Ds1 has only really just started using a fork or spoon now he's 18m. We've never really pushed it though so don't know if he's early or late.

He doesn't really parrot words yet but does have a few words. Has more than 50 signs though so I guess some 18m olds could say that many words? No idea!

My 13MO has about 4 words, no parroting though. She attempts the spoon but it’s messy so she’s mostly still feeding herself with her hands and playing with the spoon.

My 14 month old has been repeating noises for months, couldn't tell you when she started. She has a few words now as well and quite a few signs (though she mostly uses 'food' and 'more' 🤦‍♀️).

Spoons get thrown immediately on the floor.

At 11 months old DD could feed herself with a spoon. We did blw. She had words before that but I am not sure when she first started talking.

Thanks everyone, my daughter just turned 1 & she hasn't really said any words yet, I think she did have a day when she copied me saying 'bye' quite a lot but just the day 😂 I've just started trying her with the spoon, she holds it & I direct it or it would end up every where! Just wanted to check if we were going along the right lines..

Oh my little one does that - the other week she was saying monkey and tiger, but now they're all dadas 🤷‍♀️
