About to turn 1: Milk schedule

My DD is weeks off turning 1, so I’m planning on switching her from formula to cows milk. I’m conscious that I should probably start dropping some of her bottle feeds too. she eats three full meals a day, the odd snack, then she has a 7oz bottle x 4 a day (though the middle two are rarely fully drunk).
Is it best to give cows milk on wake up and bedtime and drop the day time ones altogether ?

I’m wondering the same, nearly 1 and he won’t drink cows milk from bottle or cup. He loves his bottle on wake up and another mid morning, and is always offered one before bed - although only drinks this 10% of the time (still full from dinner I think).

Ideally want to drop the mid morning one so don’t need to think about it if out and about - but that’s the one he loves the most...

If I make bottle too hot then I’ll top up with 1oz cows milk to cool it down and he drinks that, so think I’ll try increase the cows milk & decrease the formula in each bottle.

At a few weeks before my lo turned 1 I dropped day bottles and replaced with cow milk in a cup, then between 12-13months I replaced morning and lastly the week before 13months the bedtime bottle.
By 13mths old I offered a cup of cows milk with breakfast, mid morning had become a drink of water or occasionally weak squash with a snack, water with lunch, milk with snack after nap, water with dinner and milk in cup after bath.

I never once gave cows milk in a bottle. Switching one at a time worked brilliant for us. 16mth now and still has same offerings of milk Including bedtime.
I have a friend who switched formula to cows milk in a bottle and now has a 3yo who screams for a bottle of milk at bedtime. I was keen to avoid that dependency so moved quickly and so glad I did.

Forgot to mention some mornings when lifting out the highchair lo grabs the cup and keeps it and throughout the morning brings it too me to refil so can have more milk some days than others.

Also they won't or shouldnt drink as much cows milk as they do formula. So if you say drop the mid morning bottle first, that was my first to go and they don't drink much of the milk don't worry and jump straight in with a bottle of formula just offer the cup of milk and some fruit and repeat daily for a week or so then do the same with the afternoon one.

My lo loves cheese and Yoghurts so although enjoys a cup of milk doesn't need much at all.

The bottle of formula is a feed where as the cows milk is a drink and the snack is a feed.

My LO us the same age so great tips on here for me to take, what portion sizes are the meals they eat?

We dropped daytime bottles around 9/10 months because of losing interest so approaching 1 we were on one in wakeup and one at bedtime. Around 8oz each.
I'd drop the daytime ones and just make sure they have a good varied diet. Vitamin drops too in their milk if you want to.

Portions size will vary quite a bit, personally I let my lo direct this. Some days eats barely anything (or least feels that way) other days it's tons.
When I dropped formula I'd offer one weetabix with milk and half a banana or couple Strawberries etc, snack would be fruit so either an apple, tangerine etc. Lunch could be a sandwich thin with cheese.. Or smaller serving of left over dinner, soup etc (although don't have many hot lunches just now with this heat) Usually offer a yoghurt or fruit afterwards, pm snack is something like breadsticks w/houmous or rice crackers, oaty bar etc and dinner is a small plate of whatever we're eating.
From the point of full weaning ie dropping the formula/breastmilk is when you really discover your lo's appetite. Best thing you can do it go with the flow and tweak it as you go to suit your lo and family.
You'll soon learn if meals/snacks are too big or small etc.

Good luck. The earlier you do it the easier it is. By 13months mines didn't look for any bottles at all and wasn't bothered in the slightest by not being offered it.
