Party game ideas

Hi,
My dd has her 5th birthday party next week. Sort play for an hour and food in a separate room for 45 mins. We did the party there last year and it ended very early because the kids finished eating after 15 mins! !
So I guess I am going to have to fill the time with the dreaded party games. The problem is that it is a long narrow room and I can't move the furniture. So apart from pass the parcel do you have any ideas for games that are suitable for 5 year olds that need minimal space or can be done in their seats.
Thank you

How long do they allow use of the room? I assume it's another hour? seems silly that it's not large enough for play though!

It's hard to think of table based games...especially as the table will be messy from the food.

I know this isn't helpful but I wouldn't book a place like that twice!

You have though so really, I'd just end the party after the food. Which is ok for this age range as they're so small still.

Otherwise...you could consider something like Simon Says.

Simon says put your hands in the air! And ...Simon says shout out hurrah!

And so forth. Just keep it going for a while...don't make anyone be "out" or anything...just let them play.

Then at the end, say that they''re all winners so they all get a party bag.

Decorating party hats, you can buy supplies from a pound shop, stickers instead of glueing things on to save mess. Fill a piñata, picking all the sweets up uses up some time! Can you or someone you know face paint? Good way to use up time as well!
