Dd non stop talking

I'm at my wits end

My dd is 3 nearly 4 and she doesn't stop talking all day every day. She has to know every detail of everything, even when you answer her she asks again or resorts to 'why why why'.

I know it's normal at this age to talk so much but I'm struggling to cope with the talking so much as it's constant. She sleeps well normally but when I am putting her down to bed she will talk talk talk until I Get annoyed at her.

Is this just a phase I need to get through

Oh bless, don’t get annoyed with her though!
My 3 (nearly 4) year old is the same. She talks more when she is nervous. But it is constant like all day, I joke to my husband that my ears are ringing by bed time but I just go with it. I talk back and don’t just do the ‘yeah, yeah’ things. Xx

My daughter is the same and she's 8 now! On the plus side, I'd rather her be chatty than shy x

My DD1 has just turned 4 and is exactly the same. I feel like my ears are about to start bleeding and my head explode most days. I don't mind genuine questions, but this is just her stream of consciousness verbalised. I lie on the bed in silence for about 30mins after DCs bedtime to try and decompress. DH knows not to bother me until I emerge now Grin
And that's without the constant

Yes, what's the problem?
Mummy?

I'm sure it's a phase but not one I expect to end any time soon. DD2 (louder and chattier than her sister) is upping her game now too, so soon there will be two of them... Will it work if I point them at each other and let them get on with it?
