Baby hand prints

What can I use to do prints of my baby's hand and footprints? I've seen those ink sets you can get where the ink doesn't touch their skin, but it seems like you only get 1 or 2 pieces of paper and they seem expensive for what you get. Anyone had any experience with this?

We received an inkless set as a gift when my DS was born. You use the special wipe and press their hand on the paper which reacts to the chemicals in the wipe. I believe it is what they use in hospitals in America to do hand prints. Think it was from not on the high street. Was good as no messy ink/paint to clean off afterwards!

Just found a Similar one on Amazon for £4.49 - bargain!

Warning not on the high street is an expensive way of buying these kits and postage not cheap either (I was charged £2.75 p and p and sent it back for the cost of a 1st class stamp). Amazon offers just the same for a third of the price.

Baby Rice do these, think you can also buy them from amazon. They're messier than I expected though so I only managed footprints (but she was 6 months old and could fight back).

In a baby group we go to they do a craft with hand or footprints every month which they use crayola ink pads for - that works well.

The inkless wipes are great. I bought a pack of 40 from eBay. I've turned DC handprints into keyrings, cufflinks, frames. Lots of online jewellery places offer to make something out of prints.

Poster paint or an ink pad and use a wet wipe to clean them off afterwards.

That's brilliant thanks guys, think I'm gonna get the wipes type thing from amazon Wink
