allergy reminders
calpol / nurofen dosing schedules for run-of-the-mill earache etc
who goes where on which night (beavers, rugby etc)
packing lists for above
late night pharmacies & supermarkets if she's not from round 'ere.

i write a rough list of Dds routine, especially bath/bed so that its consistent and she doesnt miss her milk or bedtime teddy or something.

i wrote a rough routine, list of fave foods, foods to be avoided and emergency numbers.

Don't leave too many instructions - MIL may get upset that you think she's useless (I did the first time I left DD and she still mentions it now, 2 sides of A4 for an overnight stay ). If she needs to know anything, she can ring you. How old are your DCs? If they are a bit older they will be able to help out too and will like the responsibility.
I'd just give her the basics - Docs, and dentists numbers, any appointments that can't be missed and tell her to ring you if she needs help. After all, she did have at least one child once and it's much like riding a bike
oh, and above all - don't worry - if their routine goes tits up for a week it's not the end of the world, you are going away and having fun so let the LOs have a bit of fun with Granny

outfits to wear? i mean you don't really want your children to think its ok to wear gold lamay. it might damage them

lol custardo. My DS is a baby, so i think a list was needed in fairness...and even if i had told her what to dress him in, it'd make no difference, she just buys him new clothes and ignores what he's given.
