Hi guys, so my little girl was 1 on the 12th and we’ve been trying to wean her on to full fat milk but she’s having none of it, weve tried putting it with her formula such as 3 parts formula 2 parts milk but then she won’t have her bottle,

Any advice??

Nothing to add but I’m watching this because I’m pretty sure I’ll have the same issue!

Also watching, sorry no advice but we're about to start doing this.

I've never liked milk, and my mother tells me I wouldn't drink it as a toddler. Try her with things like rice puddings, yogurts, custard, cheese, butter and so on. I've always liked all of those. And sometimes I would have milk with cereal, or as a flavoured milkshake.

We had the same. Started putting it in cereal first then started off with a splash in his bottle and built up gradually over a number of weeks - it took ages. We also had to warm it up and at 17 months old he still won't drink it cold!

If she’s eating a balanced diet, she doesn’t need milk post 12 months.

Just start reducing the amount of formula and don’t worry about weaning her on to something.

Albeit, you could try oat / nut / goat milk as alternatives but as above, she doesn’t need it (formula companies make you think they need it post 12 months with their clever advertising of “follow on” milk)

We kept mixing formula and milk for aaaaaages. To be honest it wasn't really until she started nursery and they all drank milk there that she got more of a liking for it! She is 2 now and still doesn't drink huge amounts but has mountains of cheese and yoghurt and broccoli which I think contains calcium! Grin
